This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how JumpStream Technologies Pvt. Ltd., having its registered office at B-804, Plot No 83, Sector 15C, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai City – 400614, Maharashtra (the “Company”, “we”, or “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your information in connection with your use of JumpToPC App and the services we may offer through and along with the App from time to time are mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.

Company is committed to maintain the privacy of the users whereby appropriate measures have been taken to ensure that user's credentials are not misused, accidentally destroyed or lost within the environment of the App. The App is intended for students starting from the age of 8 years, therefore, as a part of the privacy policy, the parent(s)/guardian(s) need to provide consent in case where the age of the user is below 18 years. Thorough care has been taken in the protection of information on JumpToPC.

By using JumpToPC, and signing up with us, you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, both of which form a legal binding Agreement between the Company and the User, the Agreement shall be binding upon the Parent or Guardian in case the User is below the age of 18 years. Further, by sharing your details with us, you also agree to receive e-mails including newsletter, campaign updates, advertisements, inter-alia with regard to our services by us. If You Do Not Agree to Be Bound by This Agreement You May Not Access Or Use The App.

  1. WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS

  1. This Privacy Policy covers our usage of material as mentioned in the policy that is shared by you with us in furtherance of using the App. This policy also covers treatment of any personally identifiable information shared with us.

  2. This policy does not apply to the activities of organizations not owned or controlled by us, or to people who are not employed or managed by us.

 

  1. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

  1. Company is committed to the protection of the privacy of its Users. We use and process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR is short for the Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation).   1. INFORMATION COLLECTED BY US

    1. Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

We collect non-personally identifying information that your browser makes available whenever you install an app and further all information that is provided by connection of your Smartphone with any of your other devices including without limitation Desktop, Laptop and Television. This information includes your IP Address and hardware specs, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

  1. Personally Identifiable Information:

We collect information you provide when you create an account or register with us, enrol for a service, use a service, submit your profile as required by the platform, subscribe to our mailing lists, send us an e-mail or call us. The information may also include but is not limited to your name, your mailing address, your e-mail address, your contact number and the user’s parent(s)/guardian(s) information also need to be provided along with acceptance of their consent to use this App in case where the age of the user is below 18 years.

  1. Location Data:

We receive information from you that helps us approximate your location. We may, for example, use an address submitted by you while setting up your profile, IP Address or hardware MAC address received from your browser or device to determine your approximate location. We may also collect location information from devices in accordance with the consent process provided by your device.

Additionally, and only upon your grant of respective permissions we may collect information from third party service providers.

 

  1. WHAT DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  1. To personalise your experience and update your account: Your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs.

  2. To improve our services: We provide the service of pairing the Smartphone and Television, inter-alia, and along with it, we also provide the facility of connecting your smart phone peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse to set up a personal computing solution for the user. This is especially useful in today's times, with remote learning and working for the students. The information about the user and their requirements would be immensely helpful in improving our services and tailoring it in accordance with the user’s needs.

  3. To improve customer service: Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your user service requests and support needs in terms of the App.

  4. To send periodic emails: The email address as provided by you, may be used to send in information and updates pertaining to your programme, in addition to receiving occasional Company news, updates, related service information, etc. to be able to tailor the Services to one’s specific needs if feasible, for convenience of users and communication with them, and as may be required by law.

  1. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. While we carefully select the other Platforms we link to, we are not liable for the privacy practices or content of these Platforms.

  1. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside third parties, your personally identifiable information, unless, such transfer is essential.   1. CHANGE OF CONTROL:

In the event of the change of control of Company or a business transition, such as, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor organization. Accordingly, we welcome your feedback regarding any privacy concerns that you may have, including how we can improve this Privacy Policy.   1. MODIFICATION AND DELETION OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Deletion: In order to delete the personally identifiable information including but not limited to the contact details, passwords among other things that you submitted, you can notify us that you wish to delete your personally identifiable information or any part thereof contained at our databases.

  2. Modification: If you wish to modify or update your personally identifiable information, use the application interface.

Please note that deletion of your personally identifiable information from the Company’s database will not prevent the Company from using gathered anonymous information.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services along with our services and products. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked third-parties. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our product and services, and welcome any feedback about these.

 

  1. MINORS’ ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

The use of the App and corresponding services provided by us by a User below the Age if 18 is solely the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian of the User and this Agreement shall be binding upon them

 

  1. ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY ONLY

This privacy policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our App and website with regards to the information that they shared on the Portals provided by us. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

Beware of scams in which persons unknown to you request your screen name, password, or credit card information. Make sure you verify the identity of anyone asking for personal information. For Parent(s) and guardian(s) it is advised that they always monitor their children's activities on the app, in cases children are below 18 years of age.
